Rare Friday
This particular Friday doesn’t come around very often. Well it has nothing to do with occasions, anniversaries, or anything of that sort. Rather, it’s got everything to do with how our Earth spins and our calendar.
So let me just take this rare opportunity, in this rare moment, on this rare day, to type this very rare post, and enjoy every minute of this rare 24 hours.
*What the hell is this rare freaking moron talking about?!*
Today is 29 February 2008! The Leap Year! This day occurs only once every 4 years and on years divisible by 4! So the next time I can post an entry on this day will be 4 years later. Cool huh? That alone is reason enough for it to be rare!
So I say ‘Dumb moron’ right back at you to those who thought me to be that. (:
What say YOU?
Eat to live? or Live to eat?
I’d say I live to eat. (:
What say you? Show me your true colours!
Mosaic Music Festival
The Mosaic Music Festival is back! It will be held at the Esplanade from 7-16 March. Woohoo!
Honestly, I’d love to be there every other day, but taking into account the ticket prices and the days which I cannot attend, it looks like I’ll only be able to catch the free events at the Esplanade concourse, which means I’ll be missing out on a lot of my favourite artists’ performances, especially the ones on Friday and Saturday as well. Oh well.
Then again, you’ll definitely catch me there someday or another. (:
Look at Me

I’m bored.
Anyway, if anyone out there needs a tutor, do give me a call or contact me here. No I’ll not be giving the tuition but I’m working as a tuition coordinator now. So I can help you find a suitable tutor. (:
Weird Searches
Yes I believe for those of us who use WordPress, we all know about it. We’ve all experienced it. We all wondered about it. And what am I talking about? Google or whatever search engine term searches, or more specifically, what people search for and how they come to visit our blog.
For starters I shall share a bit of the ones that never fail to amuse me. Names. Yes. I’m talking about names, as in your name.
People search up names like:
Xue Mei, Sasha, Ginny Quek, Bao Ying, Meng How, Brendan, Lin Ze, Ms Sunarfa, Kalyani Kausikan, and other variations of these names and ended up visiting my blog. Oh and these are just the few searches within the past 30 days. And guess what, Kalyani Kausikan (and variations) tops the list with 14 views of my blog coming from a search on her name in the past 30 days. Wow. Great. And guess who she is? A teacher from my school. Or rather make that ex-school, St Andrew’s Junior College.
I seriously don’t know if the people search these names specifically to get here, or they just happen to stumble upon my blog. But it’s ok. I’d prefer not to know. After all, their just contributing to my blog stats. (:
Nonetheless it amuses me to know how people are actually getting here. I can imagine some geek stalker going around searching these names and trying to find out more about them. Sick, but highly amusing. Oh and just for the record, I do know all these people I’ve mentioned. I didn’t just make up some name for this reason.
So technically what have I just done here? Other than writing and publishing a post, I’ve hereby created another entry with all these 8 names for people to search for. Easier for them to find my blog huh? More entries, more names, more views! (:
So if you’re reading this post because you’ve just googled or yahooed or whatever-ed your own name or the name of others, come on. Don’t be shy. Leave a comment and let me you’ve amused me! (:
Typed for show
I have no reason nor content nor relevant title for this post.
I just felt like typing and posting something.
So here it is.
A post, typed and published.
Written for the sake of posting something.
Perfect. Now I’m satisfied.
I shall go and sleep.
Him
2¼ years into knowing Him, I came to a realisation. Every minute, every moment, He’s there by my side, above me, beside me, below me, in me, with me. He’s there when I need Him. He’s there when I’m happy, when I’m sad, mad, disappointed, depressed, or feeling lonely. He promised never to leave nor forsake me, that the thoughts He has towards me are of good and not of evil. Now before you think I’m a damn gay, read on…
I love Him more and more each day. You know people say the longer and more you know a person, you might start to get tired and sick of him or her, but not with Him. The longer and more I know Him, the sweeter He seems to be, the more caring He seems to be, the more patient and forgiving He seems to be. He gave everything for me.. He says He loves me. He calls me by my name. He knows the number of strands of hair I have. He says He looks into my heart while the people of this world looks at my outward appearance. He says He’ll remain faithful even if I’m faithless. He says He’s just and faithful to forgive no matter how many times I’ve fallen if I’m truly repentant. He has and is willing to give me everything I ask in His name. No I’m really not some sick gay. Read on…
He’s love personified, patience personified, kindness personified, meekness and humility personified, everything personified. He’s called the Lord of lords and the God of gods. He’s a healer, provider, Father and friend. So just who is this perfect guy?
His name is Jesus. It means life. It means hope. People say this name with joy, yet there are people who can’t seem to stop cursing with this name. Such a wonderful name, but overused in the wrong way. His name is God. So big and awesome, yet crammed into this three letters. God.. He says, ‘Be still, and know that I am God.’ Have you ever thought of the name God? It never fails to amaze and awe me. These three letters carry so much. They symbolise life and its everything. I am supposed to relax and know that this God will help me through whatever comes my way. I am supposed to chill and know that everything will work out fine because He is God. Can you imagine the kind of magnitude the word ‘God’ carries? But yet it is just so simple and easy to say. People go around saying ‘God.. God.. God..’ like it’s such a common and small word, but no. It is such a big word. Such a beautiful name.
We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed-

One life, I lay at Your altar…
Show me Da Money
It’s Chinese New Year tomorrow! Say yay to all the red packets and food. (:
That’s right. Seriously, I just want CNY to come. I don’t really know why. Maybe it’s the money, maybe it’s the food, but I just can’t wait for tomorrow, though visiting is just so boring. Why can’t everybody just come to my house and we’ll throw a red big party? That’ll be cool. Let’s break tradition man. (:
Then again, I’m kind of dreading CNY. Not to the extent of ‘ohmygosh-it’sCNYagain-why?why?why?-i’msogonnadieeeee‘ kind of way, but rather just.. ‘yayaya-it’sCNYagain-bigdeal..‘ Yeah you get my point. So basically I’m just not making any sense, common sense, cow sense, dung sense, or whatever sense.
Ok. Maybe I’m just looking forward to CNY because I want it to just come and go. Show me da money, I’ll say ‘gong xi fa cai, hong bao na la’, we’ll have dinner together, talk and crap and say goodbye and there you have it. CNY is over! Now I seem to finally be making some homosapien sense. (:
