Garbage
6 scoops of ice-cream, new york cheese cake, chocolate cake, chocolate fondue, honey stars cereal, coco crunch, peanuts, chocolate fillings, marshmellows, and countless other junk food at Swenson’s eat-all-you-can ice-cream & dessert buffet at Ion Orchard was my dinner yesterday.
And the highlight was the ice-cream blended salted black pepper strawberry topped with mint I got from losing rock-paper-scissors. AWESOME SHIT.
Probably the worst sin I’ve committed. It was awesome and absolutely horrible at the same time.
I got to swim at additional 20 more laps this weekend. :/

Problem after problems regarding rations. I seem to be really ill-fated with them. Oh what have I done to you Mr SFI that you treat me so unwell? You conduct a survey twice every week to check on the standard of your food, hygiene, and service. Here’s my honest opinion.
You suck Mr SFI.
You cook lousy food that’s seriously overpriced.
Your service sucks and the ‘positive’ feedback you get from your surveys every week are due to the spies you place beside the survey machine who bombard with questions and more surveys if you fail to choose ‘very good‘.
You always run out of food for us hardworking, hungry soldiers like me.
There you go. Overall survey result for Mr SFI?
FAIL.
FAAIILL.
FAY-EEL.
I lost weight!
This is bad. I actually lost weight! I was weighing above 60 when I was still in course as a trainee. Now, I’m 59! NO! DO NOT WANT! To think I was still thinking I’m getting fat due to the lack of exercise after I passed out. CRAP.
Alright. More food. More protein. More gym. More muscle mass. I am going to gain weight now.
Local Durians
Just came back yesterday night from 4 days of field camp at Choa Chu Kang. As usual, camo-ing sucks. Other than that, everything else is pretty much alright, except for the freaking LBV which I always thought to be lighter in weight than the field pack during BMT. But apparently Sispec made me understand the true meaning of the Load-Bearing Vest (LBV).
Durian season is still on, and apparently there are durian trees growing in the jungle there, so my commanders kept going in to pick up those which have dropped on the ground and aren’t rotten yet. Yes we got a chance to taste them, or rather only my section. My first taste of local durians? Nothing spectacular. They taste just like. durians..
Oh and I never knew we can actually stop for a ‘durian break’ halfway during a mission just because my sect comm found a durian on the ground. Now that’s funny. (:
What say YOU?
Eat to live? or Live to eat?
I’d say I live to eat. (:
What say you? Show me your true colours!
I feel..
Hungry. Ahh yes that’s the word. Lapar. Right. I do. Most definitely.
At 1.40am in the morning.
Cool.
Lobster, Crabs, Fried Rice, and Heineken
One Lobster Cold-Dish, one Chilli Crab, one Black Pepper Crab, two plates of Fried Rice, and 5 bottles of Heineken. That was my dinner yesterday, shared with 6 other friends. (: Well we celebrated Kiat Hwee’s belated birthday yesterday. Kind of a dinner treat, at No Signboard Seafood Restaurant, the Geylang branch. If you’re thinking, they have a huge signboard put up. Yeah. (:

First up, it was the two plates of Fried Rice. That wasn’t anything to talk about. The main course isn’t even here yet. One thing was that we ordered 3 crabs initially, but cut it down to only 2 because we didn’t have enough cash. Quite embarrassing, but we managed to change our order in the end. Phew. No washing plates. (:

The Lobster Cold-dish came next. Our most expensive dish, which we wasted no time in gobbling it up. It was delicious, but really too little for a table of seven. Oh well. Expensive stuff are like that. I wonder if they had conned us. Killing a small lobster but putting a big lobster’s shell on the top to make it seem like it’s a huge serving. Never mind.

The Black Pepper Crab came next, followed by the Chilli Crab. We waited quite a long time for the crabs, but I guess it was worthwhile. They were delicious. The pepper was spicy. I choked a few times on it, but gladly. (:

I especially loved the Chilli Crab. The deep-fried buns dipped with the think, yummy sauce. Gosh. The taste is to die for man. (: We licked up all the gravy. MSG? Who cares?

And of course, who can forget the beer? None of just got drunk though. We couldn’t drink as much as we wanted because of money problems. Ok I guess that’s pretty much it. We walked to Paya Lebar MRT later and went home. Oh and I’m was still sick, but who cares. The food was too good. It was great hanging out with those guys again. Alright. I haven’t got enough of Pristontale. I’m going to go play again. Pictures courtesy of Flikr.
