Choices

without comments

Murdoch, ECU, University of Arts London – LCC, or… NTU? No not NTU. I really don’t want to study in Singapore anymore. I’m in a dilemma. I don’t know which to choose. I ought to seek advise.

On a more postive note,

FULHAM OWNED MANCHESTER UNITED’S SORRY ASS 2-0.

Keep it up Man U! (:

Demolition 4-1

without comments

It’s been a long time since I watched a soccer match live, no thanks to the lack of cable television at home and church on Saturday night. But tonight is one of those nights where I know exactly why I love soccer and why I’ll never get sick of it.

LIVERPOOL OWNED MANCHESTER UNITED’S SORRY ASS 4-1.

Now that’s something worth celebrating. I should have stayed at the coffee shop and watched the remaining 20 minutes. Darn.

Happy ‘09!

without comments

It’s the first day of the brand new year of 2009. Did you know that the year of 2008 was exceptionally longer than all the past years. Nope it’s not because of February 29th. 2008 is exactly one second longer than previous years. That’s due to the Earth rotating slower and slower around the sun. Saw this on the news yesterday. (:

5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 1. Happy ‘09!

Here’s wishing I’ll have a great year ahead myself. Cheers! (:

It’s so wet

without comments

The Sunday Times reported that Singapore has been experiencing unusually wet weather this month due to moisture-laden wings blowing over the Pacific Ocean.

Oh. So now we all know why the weather has been so screwed up over these past few weeks.

Felled by Scandal, Spitzer Resigns

without comments

Hidden affairs committed by Gov. of New York, Eliot Spitzer gets spilled out. Now, He faces court charges and is in the midst of his resignation. His wife stands beside him looking grim and worn out. A moment of foolishness, greed, and lust has caused him much. He now loses his career, his trust from the public, along with his family. That’s a high price to pay. Read about it here, and watch it here.

He quotes from the Bible, “From those to whom much is given, much is expected.” I wonder why he never thought about it before all this happened. It’s a case of talking the talk, but not walking the walk. Boom Chicka Wah Wah won this round.

As human beings, our greatest glory consists not in never falling, but in rising everytime we fall.

This Friday

with one comment

If last Friday was so rare, then what’s going to be so special about this coming Friday then?

No it’s not going to be some leap Friday or any of that sort, but rather I can’t wait for it to come.

I’m getting my freaking results! FINALLY! After months of anticipation and weeks of speculation (it was supposed to be released two Fridays ago, then thought to be coming out on the rare last Friday), it’s finally been confirmed!

Oh yeah I’m so looking forward to collecting my beautiful GCE A-Level Examination Certificate showing my 5 ‘A’s and 2 ‘D’s.

I hope. (:

Sibling Rivalry?

Apparently this is not really true in my family as well as my extended family. Most of my cousins are taller than their older brothers or sisters. So is my brother. My family is weird. Oh this is saddening. I’m sho.. Not tall enough. Yeah. (:

All Koreans Released

without comments

I intended to sleep early and wake up late yesterday night. I slept at 2am, and woke up this afternoon at 1pm. At least I accomplished one of my objectives. (:

Well all the Korean hostages kidnapped by the Taleban are released yesterday. Thank God. They were freed at around 12-1am Singapore time today morning. I know because I was watching the TV then, and the latest update popped up when I was viewing CNA. It is believed that South Korea paid a random for their released, not to mention the withdrawal of their troops and all. Finally the whole six-week saga has come to an end.

23 went, 21 returned. A minute of silence for the 2 who has gone home.
