Choices
Murdoch, ECU, University of Arts London – LCC, or… NTU? No not NTU. I really don’t want to study in Singapore anymore. I’m in a dilemma. I don’t know which to choose. I ought to seek advise.
On a more postive note,
FULHAM OWNED MANCHESTER UNITED’S SORRY ASS 2-0.
Keep it up Man U! (:
Demolition 4-1
It’s been a long time since I watched a soccer match live, no thanks to the lack of cable television at home and church on Saturday night. But tonight is one of those nights where I know exactly why I love soccer and why I’ll never get sick of it.
LIVERPOOL OWNED MANCHESTER UNITED’S SORRY ASS 4-1.
Now that’s something worth celebrating. I should have stayed at the coffee shop and watched the remaining 20 minutes. Darn.
Supernatural
Most of my time is currently occupied busying watching Supernatural. I just started watching it two days ago, so I’m starting at season one, and there’s up to three seasons now. Well, I’ve finished Heroes, that is, until the next season comes up, though I expect it’ll take some time due to the writers’ strike. Stop your strike and get back to work you bunch of underpaid lot! or.. America! Pay them more and get them back to writing damn it! You got 3 months till my enlistment to write and film season three. Get to work! Write the serials. Save the world!
Ok. If you still don’t know what I’m talking about. TV serials. Yes. They’re TV serials. Super nice, uber cool, extra thrilling TV serials. I swore I’m going to just keep watching them after my ‘A’ Levels ended, so there it is. I didn’t let myself down. (:
I’m watching all these shows on tudou.com. It’s a chinese website similar to YouTube. Too bad for those who can’t read chinese. So sad. It’s possible to search in english though, but the results shown are in chinese. So, so sad. (:
After Supernatural, it’s going to be Ghost Whisperer. Then Grey’s Anatomy, then Lost, then… I’ll see what I can get. Maybe I might go watch Prison Break. It never appealed to me. But then again, all these is enough to keep me occupied already.
Alright. Back to Supernatural. (:
Britain’s Got talent: Connie Talbot
The finals are over. Yes Paul Potts won. He was perfect, I agree. His performance during the finals is below, and it’s even better than the time he sang it during the auditions! But if I were to choose another winner, it’ll be Connie Talbot. There are 3 reasons.
1) She has a great voice! A six year old! Beautiful voice! Amazing!
2) She’s got TALENT. Obviously.
3) She is so so so so adorable. If I’m not wrong, she has BLUE eyes! So cute! She’s just beautiful! (:
Gosh. Everytime I watch her perform she just captivates me. Yes there are parts where she can’t hold the intonation for as long, but hey, she’s just a six year old! Her body is still too weak and she can’t hold her breath as long yet, but we’re talking about talent aren’t we? She don’t just open her mouth and do the words, she sing!
Think about it. She’s only six! I’m three times her age, and she did that! She’s going to grow up to be a wonderful and beautiful singer man. Click to watch her first and second performance. I watch it again and again and I’m just not getting enough of her. The Talbot family must be so proud. (: I admit. Britain’s GOT talent.
She’s super talented as Simon would say.
When you can create this kind of incredible silence when you sing, it’s because everybody is listening to every word.
Not only are you a great singer, you’ve got guts!
I think you are now right now, pound for pound, inch for inch, the best six year old singer in the world!

Paul Pott’s final performance.
Britain’s Got Talent: Paul Potts
Originally published in Mr Miyagi’s blog.
I was seriously amazed. I was totally stunned when he started singing. I guess I didn’t expect such a performance at all. Wow.
At the start I thought it was going to be a joke performance. The just for laughs kind of video. I guess I was so wrong. Can see that the judges themselves didn’t expect that, especially after Paul said he was going to sing opera. Look at their faces.
Anyway he did a really great job. I was really touched by that performance. Watch his semi-finals performance. It just as good, if not better.
You work at carphone warehouse, and you did that! I wasn’t expecting that one.
I think we’re got a case of a little lump of coal here that is going to turn into a diamond.
And we’ll sculpt it into a gem. A frog that’s going to turn into a prince.
One talk settles it
A friendship I treasured. A 42 minutes talk. I guess things are more or less sorted out. I feel so much more at ease and relaxed now. Things may never be able to go back to how it used to be but at least it will get better. Yeah. Was reading Mr Miyagi when it dawned upon me that that’s the case that might have started it in the first place. Maybe.. or at least something like that.
Woke up at 6.22am today. It felt weird. The time seem so coincidental. The feeling, I don’t know how to describe it. It felt so free, but at the same time so suffocating. Waited till 6.30am, then I went back to sleep.
A loud thunder woke me up the next time at around 9am. It started pouring heavily. Didn’t have the mood to go back to sleep so i went to watch TV. After I bathed, the rain stopped and the sun came out.

A beautiful morning. The air, or actually everything.. felt so fresh.

This topic popped up on my Google Reader which caught my eye. Malaysia rejects Christian appeal. I find it kind of ridiculous. I know Muslim laws state that Muslims cannot convert, but when one wants to out of their own free will, I do suppose they have that right. And since they allow freedom of worship, why can’t the court just allow her to remove the word ‘Islam’ from her identity card? I mean, what’s the big deal with one word? Alright. Dangerous territory to tread on. I’ll stop here.
Oh, and this is kind of cool too. Microsoft’s new table computer. No keyboard and mouse. (:

By the way yesterday’s Digital Life featured Joost. It’s actually something like Internet television. Anyway, it’s currently only at beta stage. The only way to try it is getting someone to send you an invitation to download it. If you’re wondering, yes i managed to get myself one to try out the beta. It is so damn cool. No kidding. There are so many channels that you can watch that’s not available in Singapore. Way cool. Well, I’ve got invites i can give out. (:

Emerge is just less than 24 hours away. I really can’t wait for it. Somehow, on hindsight, I wished I had joined POS. Never mind. There’s always another chance. I’m still young. (:
Christians vs. Atheists
The title must have gotten your attention. (:
Anyway i was just getting watching the debate between Atheists and Christians here. My faith aside, i have to admit this is a really great debate. Both sides are really quite well prepared and have substantial arguments. It’s actually very entertaining to watch.
Alright. I believe in God. So it’s obvious which side i take. Well the only thing i have to say is there isn’t really any point in arguing with die hard atheists simply because in their hearts, they have completely rejected God. The only way to believe is by experiencing how real God is by yourself. Only then will you know that He is real. You can bring them to church but if their hearts are so hardened, they won’t respond even if God shows up in front of them.

Ok i’m going to sleep, if you get what i mean.
free men giveaway
i practically didn’t get any sleep yesterday night. leader’s meeting ended at around 11pm at riverwalk yesterday and i only reached home at 12am after sending ginny home. took my bath and then proceeded to read this before going on to my Bible. oh and quiet time took it to 3am before i went to sleep. oh well. i guess what made things worse was the fact that i didn’t really manage to sleep for that 3 little hours i had left. i was kinda half-awake throughout. so i woke up feeling like i didn’t sleep at all. school was, as expected, tiring.
the only sad thing was that i missed live from abbey road yesterday. snow patrol, madeleine peyroux, and the red hot chili peppers were featured yesterday. crap. i can’t believe i miss snow patrol. arghh. i hope i’ll be able to find the episode somewhere on youtube or anywhere. next week’s episode will feature the kooks, wynton marsalis and MUSE. i hope i can watch it. (:

on the latest season of the oprah winfrey show, guess what oprah winfrey did? she gave the everyone in the audience a gift: an eligible man.
hand-picked by winfrey and her staff, the men range in age from 29 to 63 and were described by assistant producer Sally Heffernan-Ross as “great catches” with semi-professional to professional careers and stable personalities.
like what the hell? i can’t believe this! the women and the men have never even met each other before and she is just giving him to her? this is not even matchmaking. they just picked a man and dumped him with a woman. oh my gosh. and what were the men thinking? are they that desperate? where is their dignity? i really feel ashamed man. they’re not fit to be called men. what a disgrace. just look at their faces. pathetic excuse of a man.

“I was beginning to think it was never, ever going to happen,” said Karla Drozdowicz, 34, an unmarried bank teller from Superior, WI who won radio-sales executive Chris Iredell. “I’m totally thrilled to get Chris. He’s not what I imagined from my romance stories, but I’ll love him just the same.”
are the women that desperate as well? the women are guaranteed that the men will be into them until at least 2010. oh my gosh? it’s like making a deal and signing a contract. this is just wrong. i guess it really raining men now.
